Information for Parents
Why have these home learning resources been created?
The activities on the website have been created as a result of the ongoing risk of schools shutting due to the Coronavirus outbreak across the UK.
We know that these resources cannot replace the quality of learning your child receives in school however, our complete focus has been on creating a set of activities that all children can access to maximise their learning whilst at home.

A number of parents have asked for help with daily routines. This might help as a guide:
Ideas For A Daily Routine
We have also included seven weeks worth of projects that are available, however you do not have to follow this order:
Week 1 – My Family
Week 2 – Area You Live In
Week 3 – Viewpoints
Week 4 – Animals
Week 5 – Environment
Week 6 – Food
Week 7 – Celebrations
It may be that you look at the projects and decide that your child or if you have more than one, children, would prefer to spend a week on the animals theme in the first week rather than in the week four as suggested – this is totally fine.
We have also included a range of online resources that are either completely free or only require you to register. Some of these sites have an extensive range of books, quizzes and activities.
