Year 1 enjoyed a wonderful visit to Chester Zoo on Wednesday. They saw lots of different animals and had to decide if they were mammals, amphibians, reptiles, birds, insects or fish and record them. We loved seeing the new lion enclosure and were lucky to spot lots of baby animals around the different enclosures.

In History we have been learning all about the history of the zoo, George Mottershead and his daughter June. It was amazing to see the real Oakfield House where the Mottershead family lived and we even spotted Boris the chimpanzee (who is now 53 years old!). We found a photograph of Boris when he was a baby and used to play with June Mottershead.

Thank you to steroide achat all the parents who volunteered to help us on our trip. We couldn’t have done it without you.
