On Wednesday we held our first parent workshop of the year. Over 100 parents joined us in the hall to hear about this year’s online learning offer looking at our 3 e-learning platforms including TT Rockstars, LetterJoin and CollinsHub. The hall was a hive of activity and even the miserable weather didn’t stop the overwhelming turnout.
Parents enjoyed a presentation from Mrs Williams and Mrs Hill before spending time with their child exploring the different learning portals and asking staff about the most effective strategies for supporting children at home. The feedback from parents and children was overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to hosting more events like this throughout the year.
Our next parent workshop will be for Reception parents on Wednesday 23rd October and will focus on Phonics and early reading support skills.
