Since the start of December we have accepted a range of items for Charles Thompson Mission Christmas Toy Appeal and this week they were collected and helped into the van by the children. Thank you so much for your generosity. As the saying goes – kindness is magic.
This week the children walked to their Christingle service at St Mary’s Church. Members of the church in attendance commented on their impeccable behaviour. I hope you join me in feeling extremely proud of the sensible and mature children that we have in our school. Thank you so much to all those parents who kindly volunteered their time over the last month helping the children at different events, it is really appreciated. The Christmas productions have now come to an end and have been a resounding success. Nursery’s singing was simply beautiful last Monday, the FS2 children enjoyed the workshop activities with their grown ups and the KS1 children’s performance of ‘The Innspectors’ was simply fantastic! It was great listening to your feedback and how much you also enjoyed them. A massive thank you to our wonderful staff for all their hard work in making all these different events such a success.
During all these festive performances we collected for Claire House. You managed to raise a generous £290. You should feel incredibly proud of what you have achieved for different charities throughout the school year. Thank you.
Have a relaxing family Christmas and everyone at Overchurch Infant School wishes you and your families a very successful and healthy 2020.
